U.S. Copyright Laws state that the images of a professional photographer
are
considered to be "original works of art". Those images are considered to
be "Copyright
Protected" and you must get permission from the photographer to copy or publish.
In
other words, you purchased a copy of the "original work of art" (image), but you
do not
own the right to reproduce the image.
COPYRIGHT:
You commission
me to create the photographs ordered and you agree to pay for such services in
accordance with the terms of purchase. I reserve the right to use
negatives and/or reproductions for display, publication, promotional or other
purposes without compensation to you. Photos displayed on this web site
are for preview purposes only and remain property of the photographer,
unless you purchase a photo disc with a copyright release. Then they are yours
to do with as you see fit. However I still own the right to use the
photo's as I see fit.
You will be asked to sign a form requiring a release from me to have your photos
retouched by anyone.

without my written permission and violators of this Federal Law are subject to
civil and criminal charges and prosecution!
